I worked at my local Kroger for about a year.  I learned things like good customer service, how to work under pressure and good communication skills. This job has prepared me for difficult situations that might arise and how to deal with those situations in a timely and accurate fashion. Some things that my employer valued about me were my work ethic and my persistence.  They felt as though I did a great job with organization as well.

In addition I have nannying experience through Care.com. I have been a long term nanny for 2 different families caring for children age ranging from 1-7 years old. Through this experience I have learned a lot about shaping the minds on young children to grow up and be strong independent adults and helping them develop basic life skills that are a necessary part of childhood development. Through this process I have learned the basic skills of caring for children and developed my patience, empathy, and assertiveness in the process.
